Doctors are, of course, welcome to attend AADOM27. Many doctors attend with their teams, especially since the courses benefit all leaders of the practice.
If your doctor decides to come, he or she won’t be alone! We have seen an increase in new dentists who want to learn management basics before they open their practices.
We encourage attendance of any team member involved in the management of the practice, including the doctor. The more team members who attend, the easier it is to implement new strategies upon returning to the practice.
ABSOLUTELY. We recommend you bring all front office team members to this conference. Enjoy the benefits of team building, easier systems implementation, covering more educational courses at one time, etc.
You can always post an inquiry on our member forum in the conference category, and for years this has been a resource for members looking to reduce conference costs.
If you are a member of an AADOM DPLN Dental Connection you can also post your request in their private forums and Facebook pages. We urge you to exercise caution when reaching out to any stranger – even if they’re part of AADOM.
On Friday during the Opening Session, attendees will be seated by specialty, giving everyone the opportunity to network with peers in their field. While there are no specialty-specific courses this year, the connections made on day 2 will allow you to discuss challenges, share ideas, and exchange resources with colleagues who understand your specialty. Keep in mind that even when a session is not labeled as specialty-specific, the information shared is, in most cases, easily applicable to specialty practices.
You can modify your agenda directly within the Conference Event App. If you need assistance, please stop by the registration desk, where a member of our Event Team will be happy to help. Many of our sessions sold out last year, and if we are able to accommodate your request, we certainly will.

If you are unable to attend, you may only transfer your registration to another person within your practice. Transfers and reselling of AADOM Conference registrations is prohibited. Please see the cancellation and refund policy above for the refund schedule.

We recommend business casual attire. Please note that many of the breakout rooms can get chilly, so we suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater. Comfortable shoes are also encouraged, as you will be on your feet throughout the event.
We also recommend packing casual attire for social events, dinners, and other evening activities. The theme for Friday night’s reception is “Rock Concert,” and we encourage you to dress up in theme!
Speakers can be chosen by either:
- Being scouted at another dental meeting
- Submitting their course for consideration
- Member recommendation
The Speaker Selection Committee reviews the candidates and contacts them to discuss topics best suited for dental practice management. The selection process takes 2-3 months and begins a year in advance of the next year.
